The Women’s Center at Oregon Surgical Specialists was created to provide personal, comprehensive services specific to women. The staff that serves the Women’s Center understands a woman’s need to be educated, informed, and supported throughout her diagnosis, treatment, and recovery journey. Our entire staff is an advocate for your care.
Optimizing laparoscopic techniques
Our goal at Oregon Surgical Specialists is to provide the most appropriate personalized care in the least invasive manner possible. That is why our surgeons are leaders in laparoscopic procedures—the minimally invasive approach to surgery. While laparoscopic surgery is not appropriate in all circumstances, this technique is utilized whenever possible to provide shorter hospital stays and quicker recovering times.

BREAST CANCER SURGERY
The maze of breast cancer diagnostic paths and treatment options can be daunting; especially at a time when the emotional impact of a diagnosis can be overwhelming. Our surgeons focus on providing the best care for each individual using the most non-invasive option appropriate. Our surgeons work with you and your provider to determine the optimal treatment strategy.
Vascular Lab Health Screenings
Early detection is key to the treatment of most health conditions. Our Vascular Lab is one of the advanced and comprehensive in the region and offers preventive health screenings for Stroke Prevention, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms, and Extremity Circulation Disease Diagnosis (Peripheral Artery Screening).
Women who smoke, have a family history of heart disease or vascular disease, have high blood pressure, or high cholesterol levels are encouraged to take advance of our Health Screening services. The cost is nominal—the value of early detection is priceless.
Varicose and Spider Vein Treatments
Today’s venous laser technology provides a wide variety of non-invasive solutions which make treatment easier and more effective than ever before. Varicose and spider veins can be treated right in our office in under an hour! Read more about our Advanced Vein Center.
Bariatric Surgery
The Southern Oregon Bariatric Center specializes in treating the unique problems and challenges of morbidly obese patients and offers a variety of surgical solutions including open and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric bypass surgery and the Adjustable Gastric Banding Procedure or (LAP-BAND® System). This program not only treats the patients’ condition but provides the support and education needed for you to succeed.
