The Women’s Center at Oregon Surgical Specialists was created to provide personal, comprehensive services specific to women. The staff that serves the Women’s Center understands a woman’s need to be educated, informed, and supported throughout her diagnosis, treatment, and recovery journey. Our entire staff is an advocate for your care.
Optimizing laparoscopic techniques
Our goal at Oregon Surgical Specialists is to provide the most appropriate personalized care in the least invasive manner possible. That is why our surgeons are leaders in laparoscopic procedures—the minimally invasive approach to surgery. While laparoscopic surgery is not appropriate in all circumstances, this technique is utilized whenever possible to provide shorter hospital stays and quicker recovering times.

Free AAA Screening for new Medicare patients
Women who smoke, have a family history of heart disease or vascular disease, have high blood pressure, or high cholesterol levels are encouraged to take advance of our Health Screening services. The cost is nominal—the value of early detection is priceless.

Bariatric Surgery through the Southern Oregon Bariatric Center
The Southern Oregon Bariatric Center specializes in treating the unique problems and challenges of morbidly obese patients and offers a variety of surgical solutions including open and laparoscopic Roux-en-Y Gastric bypass surgery and the Adjustable Gastric Banding Procedure or (LAP-BAND® System). This program not only treats the patients’ condition but provides the support and education needed for you to succeed.
